how did you end your relationship with your boyfriend?

i don't think we can go on,at least we shouldn't.
we have gone through a lot,and we gave ench other lots of pain.becouse of him, i enstranged my girlfriends who know our story and persuade me to break up. i know they are right and they care about me.
i decided to leave , at proper time.but i find him care me more these days and fear my leaving.
i don't believe human can change so quickly,and i think if can don't think about myself now, it will be hard in future when i get married to him step by step!but we have been together for two years,and i got accustomed to him,so i am fraid to say goodbye or to face the days without him.i don't want to have my heart hurt,either.i can't stand it.
how should i do? how could i end this relationship and find a new life bravely? have you gone through such a difficult time?how did you do?how did you overcome it?

It is really hard to do something like this. First of all you have to be sure this is what you really want. If you are confident in your desicion then you just have to do it. Tell him you are unhappy and you don't think you are right for each other anymore. It will be hard at first, you will have to get used to being alone, but you can do it. I have faith in you.
