I live in a rented apartment, so therefore I can not wash more than one time a week. But in the end, its enough for me, since we are two almost grown people. But for others it may not be. Howe often do you have a wash-clothing-day?

well before my washer broke i was washing maybe twice a wk. b/c there is 5 of us, but now it's broken so i'm waiting for independence day sales and i wash at the laundromat once a week, but it's faster than home since i get all my loads done at once, but it's 15 dollars a week.

I share two mashines with others in the house where I rent my apartmend. If any mashine should broke I would be very sorry. We do not have the same way to wash our clothes in a laundromat here in Sweden. I can not afford my own mashine in my apartment. It´s not the water, that comes with the rent. It´s the electricity that are do expencive here.

i have to wash several loads a day. theere are 6 of us. my husband has to change clothes evertime he comes in the house. my older 2 do pretty good. and then there is the 2 year old who strips as soon as you dress him so he produces a load a day after you find them all. and of course the baby has to be changed a few times a day. and he wears cloth diapers so thats a load or two day by themselves.

When school wasn’t on vacation yet I washed 3 loads every other day. My son would come home from school and change. Go outside and play or visit with my mom, come back in and shower and change! In the mornings before school he would shower and once again change! My youngest is one and a half years old and is constantly changing! There are days when I let her run around with only diapers. She would get herself into so much trouble; I had to change her six times a day! She get into the refrigerator where she plays with the water, she gets into the restroom ect. Now that it is vacation, I wash only two loads every three days. MY son has not changed three times a day since he is here all day now and my youngest is too occupied with the kids being home that she doesn’t get into things anymore:)

it feels like i do wash everyday. There are five of us in the house, three boys who go fishing and are always getting dirty. I like how active they are but my washer and dryer run up our electric bill like you wouldn't believe. I've even tried cutting it down and just doing wash one day a week, but by the middle of the week everyone was complaining (including my husband) no socks,no boxers, where are all the towels. ugh.

Well, I have the same problem, I can not have a mashine in my apartment. The bills for elektricity would get to high. But today I only had four mashines to wash, so I almost finished.

Well, than I do hope that your familymember helps you with that. It´s to much for one person to handle alone. My son hade to pick my finished washing up to the apartment. And He also have to take care of his own clothing.

I wash every day. I have to, with all the kids. We dont have restrictions on when we can wash. I havent heard of it. We own our own home, though, but renters here in Australia dont have those restrictions either. Best wishes to you, anetteh

I wash laundry daily at least 2 loads and still can never get caught up. There are 6 of us in the house. Thinking I should take a trip to the laundry mat and wash everything so I would be caught up at least for a while anyways.

I know what the one time a week is like. For me it was a little heavy, due to having two girls. I have just recently moved to an apartment that features washer and dryer in hookups and that has made id much more convinient for me, that way I do laundry as needed while doing other things at the same time.

I do laundry when it needs to be done. Usually 2-3 times a week. I have two sons and a husband who is a mechanic so the laundry is always pilling up. Some ones got to do it!! I wish I could hire a maid!!!

I figured out that in order to stay "caught up" on laundry I would have to run two loads from start to finish every day. There are four of us here. I can't alwasy do laundry every day, so more often that not, I'm behind on laundry. By caught up, I mean the hampers about empty and clothes folded and put away. It has to be a really good week for that to happen. My routine on that varies. Sometimes I can do laundry every day. Sometimes I go a few days without doing laundry and then I have to try to catch up.
