my best friend got married 2 months ago, and my other friend is getting married next year. they're both 24 years old........and my roommate is going to get married at 25, this fall...seems like it's the trend around me, but what do you think is appropriate age to get married? does your family have preference?

The median age for a first marriage nationally is now 25.5 for women and 27 for men, in the US. I think that's as close as you're going to get for an idea of the 'right age'.

I feel the best age for getting married for Men is above 28 and for the Women, it is above 21. These are the ages, above which, I believe Men and women have the sufficient Maturity to handle the family life and face all the problems and struggles that may come in the married life. I dont mean, married life is a problem. But if it comes, then the people should have enough maturity to properly handle them.
