Did you learn a lot of your parenting skills from your mom/dad? Maybe you really didn't like the way you were brought up and decided that your son/daughter wasn't going to be brought up the same way you were.

Hi Sharon! There are things that I learned from my parents that I am also applying to my own kids and there are also things that I didn't agree and that I see to it I improve them. Actually for me parenting comes out naturally. While some would say that they are not made to become good parents, I think that is just a state of mind. We just don't know that the skill is just inside us waiting to explode the moment our children comes out into this world. :)

Oh, what a lovely person and a parent you must be. I'm sure your mother meant no harm.

Oh, you have very negative thinking about the parenting of your parents, but my parents are not like that and always i take suggestions from my mom in parenting and they worked to be successfully and iam proud of their parenting that created us to be well trained persons in society and me want to be my kids like us and more than us in this society. Wish me all the best, have a good day.
