I believe it is biblical. End time predicts more violence as our intelligence multiplies faster than it has in any other period of time. We have gone from doubling our intelligence every 50 years (around 1700-1800) to every two years.

Hello, That could be true or it might have something to do with the earth's population growing dramatically. More people and less resources. People start fighting over them. Natural disasters kill more people because there are more people, especially in heavily populated areas. I'm sure there are several more therories to the increase in crime, destrcution, and killings.
