I still think Côte d'Or is the best. Especially their milk chocolate with caramelised almond with a pinch of seasalt. mmmmm.

It's Belgian chocolate. Best chocolate in the world! And if you like chocolates (we call them pralines here- pronounced like the french) Godiva is so much better than Leonidas.

Well Booster, I am Belgian, and I like 97 % of all Belgian chocolates, because they just are the best in the world! Names ? Callebaut, Jacques, Côte d'Or, Meurisse,.... Too many to mention ! And if you are not able to find Belgian chocolate, you could try the Swiss... Not half as good as Belgian, but they come second.... (Just to explain the difference between Belgian & other chocolate !) LOL BTW, never heard of Van houton... Must be Dutch or something.....

Côte d'or tastes great, but I LOVE the Lindt chocolate (esspecially Lindor!)... Leonidas is a must, when I visit Belgium... There are so many tasty kinds of chocolate... :9

I love German Chocolate. Some brands include: Kinder chocolate, Toblerone, and others I forgot the names of.

Marabou. It's a Swedish brand, and they make some very tasty chocolate. My current favourites are their dark chocolate and the one with bits of Daim in them.

I really like Vosges (http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/). Many of their varieties aren't for everyone, but I think their Black Pearl bar (wasabi in chocolate!?) is absolutely divine. I also like Green & Black (http://www.greenandblacks.com, I think). All natural, organic, none of that awful artificial stuff that'll make you sick and break out. Just their 70% bar is fine. Also, they are far more accessible in my part of the country than Vosges - I have to order Vosges online whenever I want any (that gets expensive), but I can get Green & Black here. I can't stand the taste of Hersheys or Nestle. The stuff they're trying to pull off as their "special, reserve" varieties still taste gritty and weird to me. I've heard really good things about Van Houton. I've never tried it, but I totally want to. Blasted Southwestern United States and its crap chocolate selection :(
