When you attend a marriage , you wish the couple first or sit or eat first?

Some people, when they go for a marriage function, straight they go to wish the bride and the groom and then chat with friends and then go to eat the food. But some others, want to finish the other ralaxed things first like spending time with known people there, have food and lastly wish the couple because by that time queue for wishing them will be lessened. What is your way of doing things?

It is true in India it is common scenario. Marriage is a one time event and there are some etiquettes to be followed. I first wish all my friends then wish the couples. I will eat, only after having few pegs with my friends.
