How did you meet your first mommy friends?

I made my first mommy friends on the americanbaby.com message board's I was the first of my friends to get pregnant, so it was a great way to meet other moms who were due around the same time as me. Now 2 years later we share advice stories pictures and lot more. It's really a great way to meet other mothers.
So tell me how you made your mommy friends?

i actually met my friend b/c her son was in the same class as my son in kindergarten. we started talking b/c she was prego like me and she was due a month after me, that was 2 yrs. ago we've been good friends ever since and we live down the street from eachother.

I found a local mommy group online and chatted with them. We do playdates and MNO *mom night outs....it's been alot of fun.

I was lucky enough to be blessed with a large family- Cousins that is- It seems we all had babies around the same time- So I already had my Mommy friends- We are still super close- I have been meeting more and more mommy “mom” friends- as my daughter gets older- All of her friends moms- We talk- some are even some of my closest friends- which is funny-
