I just don't understand why some people have so much rage. It is very prominent in the area that I live in. There is always something going on. I'm not sure, but I think we are classified as being #2 or #3 in the nation as far as hit&run's go. I could be wrong, but I know it is definently in the top ten. Do you have this kind of problem where you live, or is it few and far between?

Fortunately around my area it's pretty rare. I've only seen one person in the last 6 yrs that was so completely out of control that all I could do was laugh at her. She must have been having a really bad day because all the other driver did was move over into her lane without turning on their turn signal, it was close but by no means did the woman have to slam her brakes or anything. Most people would have just shrugged it off as being a little bit rude. But this woman went completely off the deep end! I could hear her screaming 2 cars away she started thrashing around slamming her fists into her steering wheel. My jaw dropped and I just laughed. It was just so uncalled for. She pulled out to follow the other driver and almost hit 2 of us in the next lane. So what she was so angry about from her "offender" she did to 2 of us and much closer as we both had to hit our brakes pretty hard. But that's been about 6 yrs ago and I hope I never see an adult throw a childish temper tantrum like that again. My thought is, if you can't control yourself you need to get professional help before you hurt someone or yourself. Everyone has bad and horrible days but that's no reason to act like a 2 yr old. At least wait til you get home to vent. The only thing I can chaulk it up to is our cities are getting way overcrowded. Humans need their personal space and it gets irritating when people keep invading your space. I mean something as simple as grocery shopping has gotten to be fight every step of the way. You pull into the parking lot and you have to park a block away in bad weather, you walk in and you have to wait for people to get out of your way so you can get a cart. You walk down the aisles and they are so narrow you can't get around the slower shoppers so you have to wait until someone moves. Or you've got some woman with 5 kids screaming and running around and your afraid you're going to accidentlly run over one. Then you've got someone talking so loud behind you on a cell phone that you now know where they're going this weekend and who they have a date with. After you're done you go to checkout and the shortest line has 10 people all who appear to have bought enough groceries to feed a family of 4 for 6 months. After everything is rung up you think it's your turn.. nooooooo.. they have 300 coupons. Then instead of pre-writing their check they don't even get their checkbook out until after they get the total. By the time you're fighting your way out the door and walking the block back to your car you're angry and sweating and frustrated... Then you have to get out of the parking lot without clipping the car next to you or hitting someone walking behind you or running someone over who decides it a good idea to stop in the middle of the lot to find her keys in her purse. And that's just one tiny part of your day. Heaven forbid you have to go to the post office after that! I don't even live in a highly populated area, just over 1 million spread out over 5 connected towns and I know how frustrated I get sometime.

Thanks for your lengthy comment. I wish we didn't have so much road rage here. A lot of lives are lost and it is senseless !

Sorry about the length of the reply, I had one of those rough days today, guess I needed to vent a little though I didn't realize it... LOL
