Time for the berries to be ripe

Red currants - My currants are ripe.

My currants are ripe. They are soooo good. I just had a bowl full with sugar and condensed milk. And I will make jam tomorrow.

Sounds wonderful. Have you used them in pancakes, waffles or french bread? Or made fresh bread or muffins with them? If you do, you can freeze them up to 3 months.

Yes, I will freeze some. I put some in muffins before.
