Doing good cost me a job

So, I'm with this (nameless) Temp agency and was working at this (nameless) Job site. I was working my (Bum) off, so much so that the company proper wanted to hire me on full time. Time passes and I'm getting anxious about being hired, and so finaly they book me for a medical examination. Now Prior to this point I was working for the (nameless) Company for over 250 hours, and was doing great. The people were excelent and the job was great. I was fully able to do my dutys and was applying for overtime at every chance. Now, I go to the physical examination... and fail. Being a great big fat guy and having never excersised in my life, I couldn't meet the requirements to "pass" the examination, so I was "let go". This has put my perception of reality in a bind. I've done my best, and lost because of it... I've done my hardest work and still can't hold a job. I don't understand what the world wants from me in order to succeed. In relation to a prior posting of mine, I'm willing to bet that THIS is what my anxiety attacks were about. Hooray for subconsious psychic preminitions! Have a good day.

I'm sorry that this happened to you, it's really not fair, if you can perform the work then you should have the job. I sometimes wonder why I bother working so hard, because it often seems that the ones who don't work hard are the ones who get all the perks.

that sucks:( it sounds like they lost a great worker. that's one big reason i quit doing temp jobs-the company will keep you until you try to get hired,it seems. this one place played with me,then finally said they wouldn't hire because i didn't drive.the position didn't require driving.instead, they hired somebody with a car,who couldn't do the work.

The temp agency I work for was the last resort in a long line of jobs I attempted to work for. It's all I have for a job at all.
