Rape Survivor Support Groups?

I was wondering if annyone knew of any rape survivor support groups online or has had any experience with them? I know of RAIIN (www.raiin.org) only. I am a rape survivor of nearly a year and have done this basically on zero emotional support. It has been very difficult at times as it was a very complicated situation. However, slowly I feel that I am begining to be the person I used to be again. It's a long road and often times a lonely road as I have found that people would rather not talk about rape. Friends think they are helping by hushing the subject or acting as if nothing ever happened. I feel that rape victims face pressure to quickly "forget" the trauma and not speak of it. However, like many areas of life and problems, if you don't acknowledge and speak about something, you cannot face it properly. So if anyone knows of any groups, please post them here not just for myself but for other victims to find and have and a very precious rescource. Or if you are a victim and would like to start a group, please message me.

Thank you so much for your comment! It is important that people who have not been victims still understand and support those who have, I think it greatly helps the healing process. Victims of rape often feel ashamed and guilty themselves, I think it's important to let them know that you are not what is done to you and it's ok to talk about it and be open.
