Hi :) I'm just wondering if any of you are able to give me some tips for travelling to Athens with kids? We will be taking our kids to Greece in 2010, and they will be aged 6 & 9 when we travel. I'm interested in hearing from other people who have travellied to Athens with children of this age, and also people who live in, or around Athens. In particular, can you tell me more about Kidom Amusement Park? Also are there any Water Parks easily accessed from Athens? Thanks :)

We went last year to Athens, Greece with my son at the time he was 7. He was bored most of the times. We stayed in a Hotel by beach which was nice but everyone smokes everywhere. I dint like that at all. The TGIF in Kifissia restaurant there has a smoking section and a non smoking section but the whole place smelled like smoke. I did not understand how people can eat like that.

Me and my family went to Rome and then got on a fairy to go over to Athens, Greece. We went the first week in January, just after New Years. It was a great time to go because the weather was very nice and they had alot of festivals happening in Athens. There were performers, games, rides, foods (mostly candy!) and everything was targeted mostly for the younger children. It was a great time to go!
