CROCS: yay or nay?

i actually read this topic from a blog called "the budget fashionista". the author says that she has never liked these ubiquitous plastic clogs, and that these should be worn only by people who: work on a boat, work outdoors and get wet, work in the health care industry, work with or near paint, and by kids heading to camp. personally, i have never liked crocs either. they look bulky and have never flattered ANYONE's legs (although with all due fairness, the footwear company now thong slippers out in the market). what do you, think? any crocs user among mylotters out there?
