looks like the Torres deal is nearing completion.. reports today(http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/index.php?storyID=7534) have stated that Liverpool and Athletico have agreed a price just under 40 million Euros with Luis Garcia going in the other direction although the transfer of Torres is not dependent upon that going through..Torres is on holiday at the moment so nothing will be signed till he returns early July but it is now looking like Liverpool have at long last got a high profile player before any other big club could pinch them... also of note is Darren Bent has finally signed for Spurs for a reported £17m.....well over priced if you ask me... also reports are suggesting that Tevez will not be going to injter after all.. West Ham are keen to broker a further 12 month loan deal apparently to keep him at the club...
