I just got an email with a legit job offer. I can no longer do that type of work because of my tendonitis. I have a dead end job. I will never have anymore vacation time or full benefits & my boss treats me bad most of the time. I am starting my own business on the side but I don't forsee it even up & running for awhile or making me enough money for a long time. Should I contact the agency & tell them I'm looking for something different or wait & see how this new business pans out?

i feel your pain... i have a fed job, really good one too with great benefits and all that happy stuff... but i've been very sick the past month and a half and burned through all my leave time and had to use most of that time as unpaid time off. and now, to top all that off, they're acting like they don't 'believe' that my papers from the e.r. and doctor are legit! and i've been treated like a pariah ever since we got a new office manager... and it's just miserable... being treated like that, causes alot of stress anyway, plus now the prospect of LOOSING my job because they CAN make up stuff about me like that and get rid of me. i have a website with stuff i make and misc pictures up and around the first of the year, one of them went on there and i almost bought it because i had a picture of up of a friend at the office. can't have that...no pictures of the office... sheese. i honestly don't know what you should do in your situation... i feel bad you're having to go through this drama when you're not well on top of it. it's not a good thing and ... it makes you feel really rotten inside, does me... i think if it were me, i would contact the agency but keep the business idea going. you can cover all your bases like that. i'm gonna have to start looking too i think. i'm broke enough as it is without all this drama. take care... hope it works out for you. feel free to email me if you want to lay down a good rant.:-D

This gets even more tempting to email this company back. Our newest engineer is just like my boss. Yesterday he asked me to convert file formats for him then he says I let you know which files. I heard nothing all day from him. This morning he comes in and says "did you convert those files?" I said you never told me which ones you wanted converted. He said I know I'm going to do that now. I just want to slap him sometimes.
