Do you and your spouse maintain a joint account? Separate accounts? Or both?

And why? My husband and I have a joint account for family expenditures and our own personal savings account. I think this works for us, but I'm aware that other couples may have different financial arrangements. What about you?

we have bank account.but my husband decided to put money in my name only. he just want to be my beneficiary. it's just my name, we are not joint account.so he cannot make a withdrawal. we are happy with this arrangement, he can deposit but he cannot withdraw.maybe because he trust me a lot, i am the safe keeper of our finances.

the only joint account that we have is a dollar account that we try to maintain. then we maintain separate bank accounts but we do our monthly budgeting together. we find that this setup works best for us. though, eventually, we know we'll have to setup another joint account.
