Actors or plot?

some of my friends seem to get hooked on tv shows due to the "hotness" of the actors/actresses in the show. they hardly pay any attention to the storyline at all. apparently, it doesnt matter if the plot is horrible as long as the actors are worth drooling over. so do YOU watch shows for the actors/actresses or the storyline?

no. i don't watch a show just because the actors are hot. although i admit that i start to watch a show if the lead stars are my favorite. ^__^;; but if i found out that the storyline or the plot sucks, i will stop watching it. i usually watch a show if i like the plot. as the series goes on, i would learn to like the actors and that's only when i will find them hot and probably add them to my list of favorite celebrities. ^__^

oooh! i agree with you...it's kinda what i do too. i mean it isn't really fair if you decide not too watch a show cos the actors don't really suit your taste but i think it DOES make sense to stop watching a show if the storyline isn't really good thanks for posting on my discussion ^_^

For me, it has to be the plot. That's the first important thing I consider before watching a movie, because I see lots of movies lately that are shown just because of the actors that portrays the role. That is one factor that most movie-goers should consider and take a little time to think about, that good movies are best known because of the story and not of actors.

yup. i agree with you in that. it doesn't matter who the actors are. if the story is good, no matter how plain the actors look, the movie overall will turn out good. unless of course their acting is a little bad then the characters in the movie may not be portrayed as was originally planned thank you for replying to my discussion! :)
