This particular site that is advertise on mylot for relationship and says it's for free. after i registered they asked me to upgrade and to pay monthly bills. other sites do the same and when you register they later tell you if you don't upgrade you response will not be sent to your partner who expresses interest in you.something you said is free and when registered you ask me to pay and this is what i resent. This is not true a true way of attracting someone to something that is not free. one doesn't havs even a grace period for that. immediately after the registration the say upgrade, pay this amount per month. HOW? how? how? why? why?

How how, why? Ummmm they do it to get money. I do know of a totally free site though that is for dating. It's called plenty of fish (.com). I've been a member for some time and I have never paid anything. I can see profiles AND message people AND read messages all for free. It's a pretty good site.

More scams trying to get more $$ out of everyone! I don't know why and how they do it but they do. I would be very weary about signing up for any of these though.

i have been a member of some social networking sites or also known as dating sites. at first they would come up with free sign ups but later they would be asking you to upgrade your membership so you can receive messages and reply to them. this is awful. so what happens then is that you could not even start communicating with someone you like. they keep on posting several photos and profiles who got interested in you inviting you to contact them. what a foolish move to take. you can't contact them unless you become a gold or silver member. they are all ploys...what else can you expect out of this? internet has always been a business venue.
