I have a cat named "ming-ming" and shes just so lazy. she wakes up, eat, poo and go back to sleep. and when i get home from work, you wont feel that i am welcome unlike my dog that he wags his tail everytime i arrive home. are all cats like that?

that's funny, i have a cat named ming ming! and MY cat doesn't stop. sheese. trade ya? :-D actually, i have quite a few cats and each one is different. most cats stop playing like maniacs when they get to be about a year old. then they kinda just do what your cat does. how old is she? you ever think about gettin' her a friend to play with?

cool! that should get her playin' a little bit! and they'll keep each other occupied during the day when you're not there so she doesn't get bored. just remember, when you introduce 'em... give 'em a little time, they'll probably hiss and carry on like dorks. :-D been there done that! good luck! keep us posted ok?

Yes dear, that is a cat. They sleep up to 19 hours a day. Dogs and cats are very different breeds of animals.

Yeah cats are like ,ore smart than other animals. I see cats as a friend of human, a very good friend that takes away stress and other bad things.. I think cat's are lazy because it's theyr job :P. THey also catch mouse :D.

so they are not lazy at all because they hunt for mouse.. do they eat them? or just kill and play with them? and.. what if there is no mouse in the house.. so there is nothing to catch.. but i agree with you.. cats are like human..they can be very good friends too!

Some cats are lazy, some aren't! I have a five year old cat called Jasper, who seems to sleep all the time, except when he is wandering over to his feed bowl to see if I've put anything in it! We have two more, both just over a year old and from the same litter. They aren't quite as lazy as Jasper and will fight and run round before falling asleep. They used to be much worse, climbing the curtains and throwing themselves around but they have calmed down alot recently. They all want to eat all the time and once, when I came in, they all told me that my partner had not fed them when he came in earlier by meowing and heading for the kitchen. As soon as I got into the kitchen, I could see he had fed them! Did they get together before I got in to see if they could get away with this?!

Cats are not lazy, they're nocturnal animals, so it's right for them to sleep during the day. About your dog welcome, it's not really a welcome, your dog is showing that he's inferior to you. Cats don't think that way, for cats, we are all equal.

I have 14, yes 14, cats ranging in ages from 3 months to 14 years. They are far from lazy, except the 14 year old. When I get home I have to remember their names, pet them, pooper scoop (alot) and just love them.
