hi.. wow.. you're multi-lingual... heard translators are paid very well.. you can go into that busines... how are you able to learn how to speak french, italian and spanish? i can speak english (not my native language), tagalog, a bit of mandarin, and lots of fookien (Chinese dialect)...that's about it... i guess, english is the one that i am really proficient, as compared with the others listed...

Well, i am a bit jealous of all those languages. I would like to speak Spanish as well, but i did not have the chance to learn it. I can speak English and a bit of french (and of course the native language but as you said, that does not count)

Three quite fluently - English, Hindi (India's national language), Sindhi, my mother tongue. I also speak and understand reasonably well - Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, and some French too.

I can only speak 2 fluently... Korean & English... I know bits & pieces of others but not enough to hold any meaningful conversation... I guess many people are like that... My girl friend know a bit of Korean & she speaks to my mother in Korean, in bits & pieces... My daughter being mixed, she's little better at it than my girl friend... My daughter is from my previous relationship but for all intents & purposes, my current girl friend is her mother... But anyways, when we go to family gathering on my side, they both tries to speak Korean as much as they can...
