In an article Laura Granville, who Martina Hingis lost to in the 3rd round, said Hingis was not playing up to her usual. The article also mentioned that at one point Hingis even plopped down in a sideling chair when it wasn't a changeover. After the match Hingis said she probably shouldn't have played Wimbledon but hated to miss another slam, she missed the French Open. She was out for 1 and 1/2 months with a hip and back injury and probably came back too soon. I just hope it is not something that will make her have to stop playing after her sensational return last year.
