Hi do you use pingomatic to update your contents to the search engine's when you update new contents or post on your blog. If you are not using pingomatic then i recommend you to use everytime after putting new content on your blog. I have four blogs right now http://stitch-n-stuff.blogspot.com http://kim-darrell.blogspot.com http://www.lifes-like-that.com http://thinking-outloud.com How I promote them is through forums like this but the best way I have found is by visiting other people's blogs and leaving comments. Most times when you comment on their site they will come back in to your site and leave a comment.

Well it's hard to tell which blog directories are the most effective, but the more you post your blog in the better. www.blogskinny.com is a great directory that you can submit your blog to. What I really like about them is that they have a huge list of over 200 other blog directories that you can submit to as well. They can also keep track of which other blog directories you've visited. It's a really neat site.
