Did anyone here just get a kitten or kittens? Tell myLot about it! :-)

I just rescued two kittens from my dogs. They were in my garage and when I let me 3 dogs out, they immeadiately went to the garage as if someone was in there. I always leave the door open so they went in and all three went to a corner and starting trying to move things. I heard a meow and instantly thought a cat was there so I removed the dogs and found two 6 - 8 week old, half starved kittens. Naturall, they weren't enthused to see me as they had just been scared by the dogs. I brought them in the house, put them in a box with food and water and am now in the process of trying to find homes. I will not take them to the shelter here as it is not a no kill shelter. They will either stay with me and get fixed or go a a nice home. Right now they just need love. Of course, my dogs are not happy about it as they own the house.

We take care of stray cats that have been injured,lost, unwanted.... They come to our house which is outside city limits. We try to spay as many as possible each year but we always have a litter or 2 each summer We have the arrival of 5 new kittens and mama cat and grandma cat are soooo proud. When the mama cat went into labor she went and got her mother to help her. It was so precious to see. The mamma cat helped her daughter all thru the process and now kitty sits when the new mom needs a break. We all can learn alot from these loving animals! Brianna888

We didn't just get a kitten, but we do have a story about one. My fiance's step-son came out for the summer, and he bought his cat with him. My fiance had found this cat in a hot warehouse, or some place like that, starving as a kitten a few years ago (just before he and his ex-wife got divorced) and now the kitten is full grown, fat and very very healthy.
