I used to play Powerball a lot more than I do now. Now I just buy a ticket if the jackpot is up really high. This past week I bought two Powerball tickets and one Pick 3 ticket. The drawing was Wednesday night and I didn't check my numbers until Thursday afternoon. I matched three numbers on Powerball and won a whopping $7.00. If I had of matched the Powerball in one of my numbers it would have been a better payoff. I'm happy with my winnings though, it more than paid for my tickets! The most I had ever won before was $3.00 so things are looking up! Do you play the lottery and how much have you won?

I used to play the scratch off tickets once in awhile but never won more than a couple dollars.

Same here. I think I would play more if I won $100 or more :) Oh well, I'm saving my dollar! lol

One rainy afternoon my #2 son and I sat figuring out numbers to play on the lottery. We each did our calculation seperately and each came up with our own set of numbers - every single number was off one way or another by one so for several months we played the 3 sets (his, mine and the one inbetween). Then the day hit - winning number was one off from 2 numbers in each of our 3 sets - we won nothing and stopped giving our money to someone else.

I don't play b/c the odds are so low that I am scared to lose my money..however my boyfriend seems to have more luck than me since he has won $20 on a few occasions off of scratch offs. I'll just leave the gambling to him.

I used to play occasionally, although I never played very much. I mostly played the scratch off tickets. I have won as much as $50, but usually my winnings were only a dollar or two. More often though, I just through my money away.

I used to be highly addicted to the lottery. I spent twenty dollars a week every Friday to play Super 7. Once in a while if the pot is huge I'll play 6/49 as well. I have stopped now, because my income has been affected by my illness. My husband said that all the money I wasted playing the lottery all those years would have made a nice nest egg. I almost always win--mostly ten dollars, or a free ticket, or 2 bux for getting the end number in "encore" and about eight or so years ago, I won 300 bux! He didn't complain then...anyway, now I only play when the pot is huge. Good luck and keep trying. You never know... :-}
