Can Anyone tell me what's the benefit of Listing blog with the Yahoo Account?

Well Today I have added my blog with my Yahoo account but I didn't know the exact answer of it. I thought it would help me in boosting some little traffic. Anyone here can feed me with more correct information about it.Thanks

I think for one simple reason, to get more traffic and viewers/readers to their site. There might be other reasons according to different needs.
