If You Had A Choice Betweent Eating Out Or Ordering In, which would you choose?

Yeah i also like Eating out atleast twice or thrice in a week. If i had a choice between eating out or ordering in then obviously i would choose eating out. Because we cant enjoy eating food at our home, but its really enjoyable when choose to eat out. If one does not have the time then he can choose ordering in. But for me i always like eating outside, no matter if i am bit busy then also i arrange the time for eating outside in some nice restaurant.

Sometimes I just don't feel like going out - then I would rather go for takeaways. But otherwise, dining at a fanciful restaurant sounds cool. I would go for that. :)

That really depends on the mood I am in some days, I hate to cook and order out but I think I prefer to cook my meal.

I have been dining in 5 out of 7 days in a week, and so of course I welcome the choice to eat out, and that I am referring to dinner. I eat out for lunch not by choice :P

There is nothing wrong with both, but I too prefer take out. I like the comfort of ordering in and being able to eat the way I want at home. Not that dining out is bad, but I don't always enjoy being watched while I eat. At home my husband and I can eat more in peace.

It depends on the company and the occasion. I enjoy cooking and presenting food nicely and generally having a lot of visitors, but sometimes it is nice to have food ordered in for a change. The problem where I live is that we have yet to find anywhere that cooks as well as I do, which may sound boastful but it is unfortunately true. When my partner and I have a special anniversary it is nice to have things bought in so that we can have a nice ambience, but we usually buy in from a delicatessen so that I don't have to cook. If we did find somewhere really good, that is the time when we would order in. We don't eat out very often as the standard of behaviour, particularly of children, is becoming attrocious and the last time we ate out I had a child unceremoniously dump something it had been chewing straight onto my main course then wipe her hands on my dress! Yes, it would have been very funny on a show, but in real life, ordering in suddenly seemed so much nicer.

It will totally depends on my mood and the outing place.. If i feel a bit tired, i prefer a home delivered food..

I would prefer eating out. Eating out just give us some relief from daily atmosphere.

Definetly i will go out... because i love to roam out... If i am tried too much then only i used to order at home itself.. otherwise i used to go out... there they present in better manner and we can get addition dishes also that we wont by ording in home....

I definitely prefer to order in because I likek to be comfortable when I eat. Going out is good sometimes, but on the days when you are treating yourself just to avoid the kitchen, ordering in for me is better. If I go to the movies or a play or out somewhere where I am already dressed and in the mood to be public, then a nice little restaurant is cool. One of my favorite place is The Soup Platation. I also like The Spaghetti factory. Pizza is good too. I guess I like italian, but I like Mexican too. I have this love affair going on with cheese.

I eat in most of the time, but I have a maid to cook for me. She does a reasonable job, so I do enjoy home-cooked food. That's why I don't order in for my meals. But I do enjoy an occasional visit to the restaurants or eating joints in place of cooking at home. I usually do this at the weekends. Since we dine at the weekends with my wife's sister and her family, it gives us a chance to interact and catch up with each other at least once a week.

I prefer to Order food and eat it in the house. it's more relaxin coz no one is watching you and you can stop till what time you want.

wachit14 i would rather order in instead of eating out. Well it's tiring to go out and eat in restaurants these days, plus the fact you have to travel. So if you don't want any worries on travelling and you want to eat on your cozy cool table and kitchen, just order :0

My husband and I love to out so once in a while we go and treat ourselves in such..WE only do take outs when in fastfood and if we are in a hurry but never in afncy restaurant becasue we enjoy the different ambiance from home.

If i had the choice between going out to eat or ordering in i would most likely go out to eat to get out of the house for a while. I use to order in all the time when i did want restaurant food but now i would rather get out of the house. And when i go to a place with a drive through now i eat inside much better than sitting in a cramped up car more enjoyable.

I love eating out, I feel if we have ar having outer food, then it should also be at the good restaurants out. It gives us routine outings and good time with our family outside together!!!!!

I live in a rural area and I REALLY miss being able to order delivery. So if I had the option I would definatly order in. My husband and I have 6 kids so going out is big ordeal not to mention having to drive 30 miles to any different resturants. Some times do do carry out but it's not as nice as having it delivered to your front door. I like to order pizza,chinese food and subs when ordering in.

Home cook food is still the best for me. But once in while you should eat out, to relax., taste a good food.

I used to think it was a real treat eating out. Now like you, it's more trouble than it's worth. The fancy restaurants make you wait a long time for the food which never measures up to what you expected. They never get your order right and the service is lousy. To make matters worse you have to leave a tip; more wasted money. Is it my imagination or are the plates getting smaller to give the illusion of more food? Fast food is definitely out of the question with all the sanity problems and grease. I compromise and pick up a roasted chicken at Walmart and make a side salad and baked potato at home. Use the extra money to catch a good movie (movie food...now that's another sore subject, Yikes).
