how to use a template?need help

i have downloaded a zip file of template for using that in my site.plz tell me how can i use that in my index file or any other file.i m new to it.plz help me

Sorry, can't help. Don't know eithr how, I don't know too how to unzip a file/template/layout and sued it, so what I do is used other templates that dont require unzipping ^.^
