What is your favorite desert from scratch?

I love making cakes when I have time and my favourite is: TORTA GIANDUIA (CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUT CAKE) (Serves 8 – 10) Ingredients 75g brown sugar 100g butter 200g chocolate, chopped 200g whipped cream 250g hazelnut paste 1/3 glass rum 1 teaspoon instant coffee 4 eggs Steps 1. Beat the butter vigorously until creamy. Add the sugar and the hazelnut paste. Mixed well until creamy. 2. Spread the hazelnut mixture with a spoon on the bottom of the cake pan. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 – 40 minutes until hardened. 3. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, stir constantly. 4. Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the instant coffee and the rum. 5. Remove the chocolate from the boiler, add one egg at a time and stir well until the mixture is light and fluffy. 6. When the chocolate mixture cooled, add the whipped cream in the mixture and mix gently. 7. Gently spread the mixture over the hardened hazelnut mixture, level the top, and refrigerate for another 10 – 12 hours. Then it’s ready to serve.
