One of my favourite movies is "Frida" with Salma Hayek as the mexican surrealist Frida Kahlo and Alfred Molina as her husband Diego Rivera. (You can find more info about the movie here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120679/) I first saw the movie when I was 18 years old and it made a huge impression on me. After seeing it I immediatly began searching for more information about that strong painter, and the more I read the more she became a part of my life. My love for Frida and her art culminated in a visit to Tate Modern in 2005, where I got to see her paintings for real. I never though a movie would have that much impact on my life. Discuss: Have you seen the movie? Do you think it's a good portrayal of Frida Kahlo? Are there any movies that have made an impact on your life, or the way you see the world?
