I've learnt two important lessons, that affect my life every day. First of all, I've learned that no matter how bad things look, it will always get better. As long as you keep working, keep moving forward, things will eventually get better. Don't give up! I've also learnt that everything happens for a reason, even the bad things. During my entire upbringing, my family had it difficult financially. Now that I am an adult I know how to handle money, and the importance of saving up a nest egg.

Love and patience applied to most situations will make it better. The challenge is reaching deep enough to find the patience and apply the love.

I always learn new lessons everyday as I interact with others, and my inner self. But the most important lesson I learned thus far is never to give up on myself. I had been depressed for the last 3 months, trying to pick myself up from this great fall. I was being manipulated by others, and it became worst when every single bad thing concurrently came upon me. With problems, I became financially indebt, My fitness dropped, I gotten some leg infection, my confidence drooped. My factor of life dropped by 2-3 scale. That was because I trusted in the words of others too much that I really felt condemned, and useless. That period has gone, and I am trying to pick myself up now. I learned so much things in this dramatic experience that I will not let this happen again. Thanks for posting this, I wanted to vent out what has been inside me for quite a while. Mylot enables me to so called, 'shout' to the world about it. I am feeling good now!

Lots of mistake to mention here but as of present, what I did was I never took the Math Subject creditation. I never thought it was very important for me. I just realized when the Math Department Head told me yesterday that I cannot pursue major subjects since Math subjects has a prerequisites to all majors. So I lagged behind my classmates. So embarassing.

patience. if instances that needs patience came in my way, i would say "Joy, be patient. Patience is a virtue." hehehe.. before i would lose my patience easily and just leave thigns at that. i dont care no matter how important it is. i hate waiting, to give you an example, but as i grow as a person i realize how important it is to have patience.

I guess the main thing I've learned is that everything happens for a reason, and there is no point in whingeing and whining about bad stuff that happened in the past, beause all those things go towards making you the person that you are today. I've also learned to trust myself and act on my own instincts - I know myself better than anyone else, and I KNOW what is right for me - so why not go with it:-))

i learned that life is just too short! we need to do what makes us happy, not what we think is expected of us... "the only thing that does not change, is that things change"

the most important thing i've learned in life is that no matter how rich you are or how many friends you have or how many material things you have, if your word is no good then you have nothing. to be a person of his / her word is most important to me.

I suppose one of the key things I've learned from the happenings during my life is that there is a lesson to be learned in EVERYTHING that happens to us and its important to see, acknowledge and act on them....I've also learned (at far too young of an age) that "tomorrow doesnt always come" and living for today is key...AND I've learned that we are all different, with different desires, needs, habits, beliefs etc etc and THATS A GOOD THING...be openminded and have compassion when it comes to not only the ppl who come in and out of our lives but also the situations in our lives and the world around us too... I've learned plenty of other things of course but those are the most important IMO
