Many of us who live in large towns and cities have grown used to working in noise which comes from several different sources. There is the noise of moving trains heard at almost all hours of the day.The jet planes the fly over head produce noise of even greater loudness and intensity. And if we live in urban areas which are growing with every passing year, there is the deafening noise produced by loud speakers in houses or shops, radio sets in the neighbourhood , school children at play and so on. It has been recognised for a long time now that exposure to noise of high intensity leads to loss of hearing. But most of us have no time to think of noises of one type,or another. They become part of our daily life. But there is something to be thought of: Does noise affect our lives in some harmful ways? what do u think?

Yes, it will bring harmful effects to the ears. I have a problem hearing due to a lot of listening to the earphone when I was at the boarding school. When we hear sounds that are too loud, we can become a little deaf, or in other words our hearing capacity will be reduced in certain percentages.

Yes we all are become little deaf but we avoid to accept it.Because noise is a part of our daily life. Loud noise in parties make us feel happy while we don't know it creat a problem for us in future. take care

The only NOISE which affects me is the noise of the horns people use in their buses and bikes ..! Damn disturbing ..!! Just like tearing my ear drum apart...!! In my country its the horns used by these truck driver and bus drivers who contributes a big part in noise pollution..!! Sometimes I get a serious compulsion of going to these drivers and hoping them a lump on their head..!! Once I almost beacame deaf for 5 minutes after hearning the homping horn of a bus. And I even scare a lot of getting permanently deaf cause I know an aunt of mine who is completely deaf and "I" know what life she is going through. when you are "deaf" you almost get "mute" too..!! And I can belive a life like a telivision in mute mode..!!

Yes noise do affect us very badly. Even continous exposure to those cacaphonous sounds increases the rate of blood pressure. Thus one has hif=gh probability of getting heart attack in cities. I generally walk 20 misn on the road to reach the office.I have discovered another route so as to avoid the main road and the traffic. However 10 min of walk is inevitable and i alwasy have head ache in the evening
