I am receiving a lot of support as I learn to nagigate my way around mylot and I appreciate all the responses received. Last night I learned how to post from my list section thanks to crispeater and he also helped me understand the star system. Now I have a question about how to assign the best of any discussion. How can you do that when members add to the comment weeks after a discussion is posted. Also are we supposed to check every person who comments with one of the three choices? If you do that who becomes the best of the best?I want to validate the efforts of others as you have done for me...but I need to know how. Thanking you in advance...because I know you will help...you always do and that is the great part of this whole show! People helping people... Will be signing off soon...but I'll be back. I'm hooked!

Yes sometimes it takes awhile for all to respond and I know some wait awhile then go back the rate them .Myself if I really like a post I will rate it right away. as for responces want to get as many as you can then pick someone and most times it is hard for you get really good ones

Hi Lakota2, Hearing how you make your choices is useful. There are things to learn as I set things up at Mylot...but having others to assist is making my journey here most enjoyable. Thanks!

Ok, as soon as you pick the best response I figure it a done discussion. You will still have people making their responses sometimes though. I just don't understand them. Anyway, when a discussion does not have any responses for about 4 or so days you could easily pick the best response. I have had responses over many weeks. It all depends on how long you wish to wait. Try to pick the best response not your friend or someone that agrees with you. A best response should be pretty easy to pick if you know the guidelines and find one that does it that way. Or at least as close to that as you can. I wish you luck with this. If you get a discussion with 50 or more responses it will become tougher to go through all those pages. Good luck!!!

Your input on the discussion helps, thank you. I can appreciate how daunting a task it would be to choose among a high ratio of respondents. Your suggestions are useful and I will keep them in mind as I go through the process. However, I am still unclear where on the site you list your best of the best.
