MARRIAGE FRAUD (Starting an organization for women)

I have a friend who met a man on the internet and married him. The day after the wedding he wouldn't even return her phone calls. There are men out there preying on desperate women using "marriage" as the golden key. This has to stop!! Green card marriages are becoming an epidemic in USA. I want to research every avenue into this growing topic and do whatever I can to help women! Please join me with any type of contribution: websites, stories, legal advice, blogs, I mean anything! When the bride and groom say "I do" it should mean something to both of them!!

This story sounds familiar. It happens to my friend about year ago. I guess she was able to have fast divorce.

She got lucky. I heard nightmares of women who can't find their husbands to get a divorce. Then going to court and letting others know you fell for this scam is very embarrassing so it makes it even harder for women to come foward. Hey thanks for input!
