How much did you spend on fireworks?

For those who are celebrating Independence Day in the U.S., how much did you spend on fireworks this year? I spent about $90 to shoot off for my two young grandsons. I bought some, then went back for more because it didn't seem like enough. It seems like I am wasting money, but it sure is fun watching their reactions.

Good for Grandpa. Sorry your kids aren't with you today. I hope you enjoy the holiday anyway.

well on sunday (canada day) we went to a friends house where they spent about $300 for fire works, and while i love fire works, (i mean really love fire works lol) it does also seem like a waste of money to me too...sparklers are good then you could go to a place where they set off fire works in your community

We have a community fire works show here which we go to after we set off our own. It would be a lot cheaper to just do sparklers and then watch the community show, but it sure is fun to set off some of our own.

It seems like a waste of money when I'm buying them. But when I see the reactions of my two grandsons, it is worth it. I think I would miss it if there weren't any fireworks to set off or see.
