I've Heard People Saying That Vista Is Not As User-Friendly As XP. I Have Recently Bought A New Laptop With XP Pre-Installed In It. Now I Am Confused Whether I Should Stick To XP Or Upgrade To Vista. Plaese Recommend Me One Which One Is Better For Simple Home Use.

Vista is good for very complicated uses.videos graphics..but what will it gain you if you get Vista and spend your time fussing with it trying to get it to work? There is a lot of problems in Vista..and it is not user friendly..some people have had to go back to Windows XP Home ..as Vista crashed too much and was just not worth all the aggravation getting tech support on the line all the time to get the system running.. maybe in another six months..??but that is up to you..good luck

Thanks But I am a General Home User. I Usually Donot Play High Defination 3D Games But My Computer Stays On Almost 24 Hours; Most Of The Time Downloading From Torrents. Now What what Would Recommend Me, Advancing To Vista Or Sticking Back To XP. If You Think I Should Switch TO Vista, Which Edition Would Be Best For My Use.

Vista home basic isn't good and to upgrade to the next level is over $100 depending on where you buy it.I HAD a computer with Vista basic and sold it less than a month after buying it.It didn't come with media player or java which I had to download and install. Also it really does pop up a box asking permission to do even the simplest things.I suggest sticking to XP if you're going to use Windows.IF you want a really good computer with a great OS,buy a Mac.
