Hi, for paid version, you could try Kaspersky Antivirus. For free version, you could try Avira. Currently, I am using one of the free AV products which is Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. Since using this one, I have no problems at all and I am very much satisfied when using this one. It updates regularly and you could schedule it at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not eat a lot of memory. It does not slow down your computer. Its primary function and advantages is to provide protection against viruses, worms, and trojans, protection against dialers and phishing, and detects and delete rootkits. More than 15 million users worldwide trust in the reliable protection of Avira AntiVir, and this is no coincidence at all. It has gained several awards. The product combines first-class detection rates and ease of use with a top performance that protects your computer safely. You can download this at www.free-av.com. For support, if you any problems, concerns, or whatsoever, you can visit at forum.avira.com Hope this would help.

I have been using the free avast home edition. I liked it very much considering it is free and very light and very useful. It's appearance is also very simple and very easy to use and very friendly to operate. It always runs behind when I am online and protect my system from any viruses and malwares.
