I really love to travel. Since I was a child I have had a strong desire to do this. It is about the wonder of seeing different landscapes, meeting people from other cultures and seeing native wildlife. It is interesting and enjoyable to try to learn some of a new language. Australia has an amazingly varied landscape, from the tropical north to the dry middle to the more temperate south. Sydney is a beautiful city. It is delightful to see unique wildlife, such as, kangaroos, koalas and wombats. New Zealand has fantastic walking tracks that I enjoyed for days stopping off at a different camp site each night. In the tropics I have learned how to snorkel and have seen black tipped sharks, nurse sharks, sting rays, turtles, a manta ray and a fairy penguin. I have seen different religions around the world. In Jerusalem I saw the Western wall where the Jewish people pray and the Dome of the Rock, a stunning looking mosque, important to Muslims. In Malaysia I saw some beautiful temples.

I love to travel. I don't even care if I have the money to do the fancy tours and see all of the shows. I just like to see the cities, the free sites, and just be in a different atmosphere. I have often thought of applying for a job which includes more travel, but have yet to do so.
