Life is tough and we all have problems of our own. People in general only care about what is happening in their life. They even go to the extent of interrupting you when you are talking to someone telling a story. They just want to talk about "ME". Things are a lot different than they were when I was growing up. I think you just have to find a good friend and let them lean on your shoulder and you lean on theirs. Good luck to you!

its like this ceppy, there are certain circumstances that it is much better to just listen than give advice. Most of the time it is the best way to do, especially if that person is in a very big problem. Why? Its because eventually it would not be what that person would be saying that would matter, you would still have to deal with the problem and solve it, because it is your problem in the first place. It is not that people don't care, you should understand that the fact that they are there to listen is proof enough that they care about you. They care enough about you to let you figure your life out. It would be the only way you would mature and grow.
