07/07/07, or 7th July 2007, will be a significant day. Many people around the world will be saying "I do" on that special date. It is certainly one hot date for love. Even the Registry of Marriages here received more than 7 times the usual number of marriage solemnisation requests for that date, compared to a normal Saturday. Major hotels have reported full bookings for their function rooms for marriages. For me 07/07/07 is a nice ringing number, but it is not special to me. But my mother-in-law used to say that although she is old and has poor memory, she will never forget both her son-in-laws' birthdays because of the dates that can be easily remembered - mine is 2nd February (02/02) while the other son-in-law has his birthday on 6th June (06/06). So is 07/07/07 special to you in any way? Do you happen to be getting engaged or married on that day? Are any dates/numbers special or auspicious to you in any way as far as your life is concerned?

07/07/07 wasn't any significant day to me except that I know I have to work on that day. In fact, I am not particular with dates which have days, months or year similar. It is nice to have something on that day, but to have an anniversary that crashes with so many people chasing after it? LOL. Restuarants and everywhere for celebrations will be very crowded and I hate queues :P

It may be prudent of you not to try and follow the crowd. Otherwise, when that special day come, you will have to compete with many others who are also celebrating their special day. You have a point there about the crowds. Good sharing.

That's right. I guess it depends on individuals. I know some couples register their marriages on one of their birthdays or a special holiday like Christmas Day, so they will remember their anniversary easily. Thanks for sharing.
