Did your children enjoy the fireworks show? Could you get them to actually watch

My older daughter (3.5 yrs.) was running around like crazy. She would sit down and watch for a couple of minutes and then get up and run around again. I think she thought they would just keep going forever, or that we could just go back tomorrow and see more??? My younger daughter (11 months) was so exhausted by the time they started, but she watched about half of the show and smiled a little. How did your children do?
