Do/did you ( ever ) eat the inside/organ part of the animal?

Yes, i'm talking about those lungs, heart, gizzard, brain, etc...I know here in United States those part is for dog food. But I know in other countries it might be an expensive food for human! LOL...back in my home country those inside is kind of delicacy. And it doesn't taste bad at all. Only it's not recommended to eat them too much for health reason.

Hi ibuemma, I go hunting for deer every November. When I kill my deer I like to gut it right away and, while it is fresh I take the heart and eat it raw, This makes me part of the deer and capture the deers spirit. I do this on every kill. It's a Native American thing. Peace, Totty

The heart tastes great still warm. The deer meat or Venison as we call it can be cooked all kinds of ways. Doctors say it heathier than red meat, very lean. Once you've had venison you'll never go back to the other meat.

No I haven't ever eaten the organ parts of an animal~ that is just too gross to me. I know at Thanksgiving my sister loves the inside parts~ I can't even stand to look at the neck when she eats it.

Yes, I eat some animals organ parts. I eat the chicken liver and gizzard. I also eat the lining of the cow stomach which we call tripe. I'm from the southern portion of the USA and many people in the area eat animal organs. It is good if you cook it the right way and add the right seasoning. But it is inexpensive here in the southern portion of the USA.

Oh yes, fried chicken gizzard and liver are real good. My mother used to make liver smothered in onions, back then I couldn't not stand liver but now that I am older I love it, not all the time but sometimes. Also at Thanksgiving I use chicken and turkey heart, liver and gizzard for the giblet gravy.

Here animal organs are quite inexpensive and easy to come by. The most common dish is liver stew, but I've also tasted chicken hearts. Kidneys are also available, but not at all as common as livers.
