How do you keep your kids from jumping on the beds?

My little girl just found out that her bed is more like a trampoline. And, now everytime I turn around she is jumping on her bed. So, far she's broken one bed, and I'm afraid she will end up falling off the bed onto the stone tile floors. How can I keep her from jumping on the beds? What ideas do you use to keep your kids from jumping on beds? Do time-outs work for these types of situations?

If I were you, I would lock the bedroom door and ask her to join me do something else which is more interesting. For example we can ask her to draw by using paint and brush with water colour paint and do this together with your child. Afterwards he will find that jumping in no longer interesting. Or you can find anything else which you like.

My son does this from time to time and as soon as he hears my voice he stops. He knows he isn't suppose to but he tries to get away with it when I'm not looking. I give him a couple warnings and if he doesn't stop then I take away one of his things like his playstation, or his favorite toy, and he does not like that. Sometimes it's because he's in a playful mood so I distract him and have him do something else. I put out cushions on the floor and have play fights or do rolls along the cushions or things like that. Now that he is getting older he finds climbing all over the lounge chairs more fun LOL
