Do you think crossed-eyed people have double eyesight?

People around my workplace are making jokes, they cross their eyes which they look funny and says " isa-isa lang, dalawa kayo eh" (meaning, one by one only, you are two). And they laugh loud. Do you think cross-eyed people have double eyesight , or they see double people even it is only one.?

i guess they see double people even if it is only one.but they should not be laughed at..
