I always thought singulair was for kids, but my doctor prescribed it for me (I am 44) so I am just wondering is it also for adults (though I do think it is).

I take Singulair every evening for my Asthma and allergies. I actually did not know that it was for kids. I haven't done much research on it, however, because I trust my doctor. But, I do know what side effects to watch out for.

I'll be 35 in a little over a week and I've been taking it for a couple of years. My allergies are horrible since we moved to Virginia. A lot of adults in this area are on it because the pollen count is so high and it doesn't get cold enough here to kill it off, so a lot of people have allergy issues. Between that, Zyrtec, Sudafed and Benadryl, I wouldn't be able to breathe. :) I'll be glad when we're able to move from here in 1 1/2 years.

I have taken Singulair for my asthma and allergies for a couple of years now and it seems to be helping me to breathe better. I had never heard anything about it being specifically for kids.
