Volunteer work, have you tried one?

during college days I have joined an environmentalist group that promotes & educates people in saving the resources of our planet. also a local church wherein we volunteer in helping other teenagers that have "teen problems". During election time, way way back, I also volunteered in our local regulating body namely NAMFREL/PPCRV to protect the votes only during election time.

During my college days, I was a volunteer to several schools to train children to inculcate them into various hobbies as an educational pastime. I am member of red cross through which I have donated blood 3 times so far. If I find time, eventoday i volunteer to do some constructive and useful work.

When I finished college I volunteered for a year and a half at the 1000 Missionary Movement. I was sent to Benguet, lived with them, helped with their gardening, and gave Bible Studies. Climbing up and down the mountains, falling off the cliff, digging potatoes, uprooting weeds, harvesting carrots or string beans, and socializing with the people--it's one of the best year of my life.

yes,we have a youth org in our place and we always do some civic work and have some cathecism,all for free.

as a college student, i am fond of doing volunteer works. I have served a a volunteer tutor for streetchildren for two different NGO's. Once I have also attended a training at Makati Medical Center to be a volunteer for a camp for special children. however, i did not finish the training so i never got to join the camp. still, doing volunteer work is fun and fulfilling.

I really have not ever had any oppurtunity to do any volunteer work. I don't know if I'd like to get into that if i had the chance... I'm looking for ways to earn money all the time. :P

I used to volunteer to work in the library when I was a student. I had to collect the books and put back in the shelf, and looked for the books they wanted.
