Who hits the biggest sixes ?

Shahid Afridi can sure hit them, but hes not that consistent.

No doubt, it is Sourav Ganguly. The remaining names mentioned above are also those of a few big hitters. But according to me it is Sourav Ganguly. Today Ganguly is the third in maximum number of sixes hit in ODIs.He has hit more than 185 sixes in around 295 matches, most of them as a opener. When you see as a opener Ganguly is definitely the best six hitter.Because his role is different as a opener. India has always got blasting starters like Sachin, Sehwag, etc... So the duty of the other partner is to give a wicket stand and just to maiontain the momentum by rotating strike. This role is mainly a defensive one, whereas players like Jayasurya,Chris Gayle,Adam Gilchrist are early blasters.. So as a defensive player Ganguly has topped players like Matthew Hayden,Mark Waugh etc.So according to me it is definitely Ganguly...

in the cricket lot of people will like who will hit more sixes easily.every one know this.in the world cricket every one has his own style of hitting big sixes.no one is perfect an dno body is not bad.dhoni has his own style of hitting sixes.its different from evey ones hitting .no one will follow him .because its a punch of his wrist .he will use hie entire strength through his wrist only.ganguly has his own style he is one of the most senoir batsmen in this world and is the third man of getting 10,000 runs in onedays.he had his style of coming to frontffot and making good sixes.but this is onlt in his young age but he is not having that much of daring and that much of the batting style .coming to the style of yuvraj he is also one of the good hitter an dmake easy sixes in needed time of match winning.he is having a different style and making sixes in all directions.i think in my openion sachin tendulkar is the good hitter of sixes in his young age in his every century he will minimum of 5 sixes.that style and that hitting and that punching is differnt from now.now he is playing with a cool thinking in that he had played like a hunger lion of runs on the field of batting.at that time in my openion jayasuriya,ganguly,are also good hitters of sixes.afridi is the one of the most popular hitter of the sixes .his punching will always rocks the ball.but he has so many defaults in his batting .althoug he is a best hitter he is not having the batting average of even 30.00.its a great drawback of him.is the starting days he is a pace batsman of having position 2nd in the team .but now his position is in 5th.he had become a good bowler rather than a batsman.in my openion peterson and kemp are also good hitter of sixes .not only they like hayden,gilchrist,symonds,anwer,gayle,lara,so many bats men are ther but in my openion dhoni is the best hitter of the sixes.

the gr8 ganguly without a doubt!!!!he mesmerizes the spectators by dancing down the track and hittin even a fiery fast bowler for a six.....ther may b many batsmen better than saurav ...but ther r very few who could hit a six like him WHAT A SEXY SHOT!!!!!
