he wrote one of the sweetest letters i have ever received and i did not know he was dying then. he hid the truth from me in not wanting to see me hurt. upon his passing away, he left it to his parents and told them to give it to me. he was buried in the same way i wanted to be buried. in a blue ming jar beside his grandpa...and the last words that ever came out of his mouth were, "Please tell hahz, i love her..."

over 26 years there have been far too many things that he has done for me! i will say that in the beginning of our marriage he would bring flowers for me for no reason, then when we were raising our children, he was such a good father-that was romantic to me, and after i had to have a hysterectomy, he waited hand and foot on me for 6 weeks,,all of things made me fall in love all over again..and he makes the coffee every single morning! i have never made the coffee. He may not be all lovey dovey all the time, but his love is truly apparent in everything he does..love that man.

Well it was my first date with my ex. As I mentioned before he was a few years younger than me…lol… Anyways, we were planning on going out to dinner and to the clubs right after. We have planned it for over a week because he had to wait for his payday, before he could take me out. It was already 6:30 and he hadn’t called, I was assuming that he stood me up or even changed his mind about me. But then at 8:00pm he finally pulled into the parking lot. The expression on his face seemed disappointing. I was figuring that he probably didn’t have the heart to cancel on me. He told me that there was a change of plans because he hadn’t received his pay for the week, and asked me if I could follow him home to eat dinner with his parents….lol… Needless to say when we got there, no one was home! It was dark, all I could see was a shimmer of yellow light through the porch window. I was freaking out! I thought something really bad was about to happen! When he opened the door, I was dumbfounded! There were candles beginning from the entrance of the home all the way to the dinning room and on the table was one large pizza, a six pack of bear and a bag of chips….lol… Although it may not seem to be the most romantic thing in the world, I thought it was….just a little notion like that was enough to make me appreciate him.

Wow! that's really romantic. My boyfriend brought me before along the beach at 4 in the morning and had a romantic talked while holding each others' hands under the bright moonlight. Thanks
