A New Movie....What's The Title!?

I went to Transformers today, and I saw a preview that looked awesome! And VERY creepy! But the preview didn't really show much and it didn't give a title! It made me so mad! lol. But here is what happened in preview...
A bunch of people are having a going awya party for a friend. It seems like a nice, happy go lucky movie. (I had a feeling it was going to turn into something completely different, and I still held my breath when I was right). All of a sudden their lights go out and there is this loud, roaring sound. You here some girl say "Sounded like an animal" and a guy said "what kind of animal can make that sound?" The friend all go out and they live in NY or somewhere. But people are running down the street, a HUGE puff of fire and smoke erupt from the city center and the roar comes again. And something flies into a nearby building and it explodes. It doesn't show the 'creature' in the preview so I have no clue how to find it!
Does anyone know what I'm talkig about? I really want to know what this movie is, it looks great! Thanks!

yeah! watch for this preview and see if it gives you a title! I was so mad, I wanted to punch someone! lol. It looks great...my dad said maybe it's Godzilla...but they already did a Godzilla remake. So I'm trying to think of another giant creature it could be (I also know it wasn't King Kong). MAYBE it was Rodan...does he roar? I know he comes from the ground...that flying thing that fights Godzilla.

Scratch what I said above. I was reading on www.tvguideonline.com and all of a sudden there was a bit on this trailer that people have been going nuts over from the Transformers movie. It's a movie done by J.J. Abrams (Alias, Lost) and the title is "Cloverfield." It is supposed to be released January 18th. Already people are pirating copies of the trailer to sites like youtube, but if you want to catch it, do it fast. Those copies of the trailers are being ordered down.

I went to Yahoo Movies first, and when I didn't see it, I thought I probably wouldn't find it. But then looking at something else on tvguideonline, I found it by accident. I have never seen the trailer, but from the sound of it, a lot of people like it.

aw man! I looked it up on youtube but didn't find any trailers =/ It doesn't even exists at yahoo movies right now! It sucks! But thanks for the title! Cloverfield...doesn't even give a hint about its synopsis!
I know what Skinwalkers is though! I want to see that movie, about werewolves :)

A new movie would be Hostel 2. I think it like SAW series. Great movie! Try to see it. Take care! =)

I've seen the preview for Hostel 2 and this preview def. is not that! lol. I don't know if that's even what you are saying though...I saw Hostel 1 and I know I could not see the 2nd. I HATE movies with torture...so Hostel 2 is a big no for me...too bad because it looked like there were hot guys in the preview! lol. I could be mistaken though.
And I know I couldn't handle Saw...no way! I am not good with blood/gore and again, torture.
