Yes, I use various social bookmarkings and social networking techniques to bring traffic to my blog at http://betshopboy.blogspot.com
It manage to achieve certain degree of success, the spike in traffic is only temporary and not long term. Ultimately, writing quality contents and winning loyal readers is the sure fire way to increase popularity of your blog.
